HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! 2014 is over and we welcome 2015 as a fresh new year and start to our lives. I have nothing planned this year but I aim to break the bore and continuity I suffered in the past year as I recovered from my twist and change in life. Thank you Mediacorp for giving my family and I free tickets to the #SG50 celebrations. Something we looked forward to; counting down at the biggest party in Singapore! =) For the overall relatively positive review first: I really liked the theme we had going on generally as we traversed through time (50 years). Decade at a time BUT they did 2000-2014 as 2000s so that was a bit fast forwarded. I thoroughly enjoyed every section, being able to recognize all the songs from the start. It was embarrassing because I was practically the only one bobbing and singing along to all the songs because everyone else around me was half my age sigh. 23 OCT 2014 We woke up at an almost ungodly hour in the morning to catch our flight back to Seoul despite assurance from Kitty that we didn't need to be there so early. I had to explain to her that it was innate in Singaporeans to be like that (aka kiasu). Anyway she was sweet enough to wake up early and prepare packed sandwiches for our breakfast before calling the cab in to pick us up. She even sent us down, helping us with the luggage and telling the driver our destination. Thank you Kitty and family for the amazing stay in Jeju! =) Arriving well before our check-in time at Jeju airport, we found a slightly quieter spot to take a seat, relax and eat our breakfast. The airport also has shops selling all the Jeju specialties (chocolates etc) but a slightly differing range (branding) with a higher price as well so if you have time to visit Jeju markets or even the e-mart, it would have made for a better shopping place for bringing back these as gifts.
