Nando's Beach Party
And so the story begins with: I entered a Facebook contest unknowingly by simply voting for my favourite Nando's chicken flavour. So what did I choose? The Hot flavour! =] Why do I love it the best? I find it the most acceptably hotness level which is able to provide you with a great tasting sensation. I did not choose Extra Hot because I felt the spiciness was a bit overwhelming so much so it killed the taste a bit. Hot on the otherhand give you the right amount of spicy and tastiness =]
I entered the poll without knowing that it actually had a competition underlying it. One fine day I received such an email from Nando's:
Yaye!! I immediately shouted for MK to tell him the good news; duh its free chicken MK definitely comes as one of my invited guests. And then the next person I invited was Fiqah =] I would have brought my whole family if it was 3 tix but it was only 2 guests =[ Then I spent a while realising that boyfriend might want to come (not because of Nando's but just to spend time with me) so I emailed Nando's to ask them if I could bring an extra guest. They were nice enough to reply me saying they will check if anyone backs out. Fortunately they replied a couple of days later to say I could! But apparently Rory invited friends over to his place so he cant go =S Sheesh went through the trouble and worry for nothing =S
Anyway actual day! Mummy decided she wanted to go Sentosa to see the flowers as well so we "hitched a ride" We picked up Fiqah on the way before heading to Sentosa!! Whoooo!
And yes this was also the day I tested out my new camera! Hehe practice before the Suju concert. Anyway we were slightly early so we had to wait a while before registration began. Registered and went inside to drink and camwhore ;-) The event took place at Emerald Pavilion where Nando's had actually booked the whole place so we had our own private toilet which was important to me haha
The next part consisted of game playing. I really wanted to get into the hamster ball and walk on water but initially I didnt dare to and later on the ang moh guys hogged the game =[ Other games included dunking people and throwing rings to hook bottles. They were named "Fire Up" and "Hook the Babe" respectively. MK won himself a towel from the first game. I managed to hit the target quite a few times but the guy was too fat to drop =[ hahaha he was like shouting at me "I dont owe you money!!" hahaha super farnie. Fiqah didnt manage to get anything either but we had fun =]
And of course what is a beach party without the hunks and "babes" of which I didnt think were hot so dont have any pictures of hahaha oops sorry guys!
And then the highlight of the of the day!! Free flow of Nando's chicken in the hot flavour!! Wheee I think MK had like 7 portions haha I had like 2~3 and Fiqah had around there as well.
We decided to chill abit more after lunch so Fiqah got herself a chicken tattoo hehe
They were also having games and quizzes with prizes given out but we decided we were too tired (and full since we already had our chicken) we decided to call the parents and ask if they wanted to head home too. They told us they would meet us at the tram station so while waiting...camwhore with brand new camera testing out all the new features hehe
And then we headed to Changi Airport to chill somemore hehe .-)
Had such a great time despite the slight annoyance of heat. Thanks Fiqah was coming along! Wouldnt have been fun without you ;-)
