D&E PRESENT TOUR 2015: LAST CONCERT: BKK 2015

As per my Instagram post;

I was there for the very first concert and the very last concert

But really that's all I attended; 3 days of Saitama: 0304, 0404, 0505 and then finally this final concert here in BKK. I am thankful for the support of my friends and family in making this happen. I promise this is the final thing I'm doing for Eunhae before they enlist because they are my biggest loves of Super Junior since I fell in love with them 10 years ago. This subunit could possibly the best thing that happened in my life and all those around me will know truly how I feel towards this pair.

I was glad for the different song line-up cause that provided a bit of entertainment, travelling-incentive and special feelings. Although a bulk of my favourite Japan songs like "Kimi Ga Naitara" and "Where is She?" was missing (ie they couldn't sing even the Korean version of it), it was refreshing to get new songs I didn't in Japan such as the classic "Still You". "Gift" was also missing which was kind of annoying because it's the main song of this concert; with the theme "Present" and I was never too fond of Super Junior songs being sung to fill the time. Overall Japan setlist > Asian stops but maybe only because I'm biased towards the Jap songs.

When the concert started with the hot SWAT VCR; I was extremely pleasantly surprised to see the helicopter descending from the roof which was a huge plus point cause it adds to the grandness of the entire concert on an overall. They even had the motorcycle carts which went around the hall (lucky people at the sides and corners) and sprayed the mist. Autographed balls were also thrown; of which one of my friends was lucky enough to catch one from Donghae. I guess purely based on this aspect, Thailand has got to be one of the best stops of the Asian leg of the tour. Taiwan/Shanghai had the good big props and carts as well so I guess it was decent, sorry no offence but I am glad I gave HK a miss.

This is my first time attending a concert in Thailand and it took me some time adapting to remaining seated throughout the entire concert. The security was pretty strict in ensuring everyone remained seated throughout the concert; which left me squirming and dancing and going spastic in my seat. One of the Jap male dancers even noticed me dancing Kiss Kiss Dynamite and smiled and gave me a thumbs up =) Dancer attraction thing yo haha. (Yes, which also means I was in a very viewable position for the people on stage). I was seated in the fifth row in front of the centre stage so I had a very good view of the entire concert and it made it truly enjoyable; first time I did not have to turn my head for a concert (except when the carts went round and I couldnt resist). Everyone remained seated except when the carts went around and everyone ran to the back...I went down the aisle once when they were throwing the balls...haha.

My neighbours were pleasant and friendly and took good care of me. Overall good experience from fellow fans except the girl seated beside my mother who sneaked a camera in and took photos during the concert. She got caught during the last segment and it was a whole big drama episode during the talking session after Choki Wa. The security kept trying to drag her out to which she stubbornly refused. Me and the 3 other girls were stranded at the aisle; which was kinda attention seeking and they kept clinging onto my arm and hiding behind me when Eunhae stared in our direction....tsk tsk. (And they all thought I was Thai cause she kept gushing to me in Thai to which I couldn't understand). In the end we managed to get back to our seats (with stubborn girl still there) but the fierce male security squatting and staring at her....which also meant I couldn't take photos for the rest of the concert.... bitch.

Let me share the one video of mine which went viral on twitter:

Photos were crappy and very few (damnit I should have taken selca with them behind me =( )

Overall concert feels; I wasn't as high as I was in Japan and I understand neither Korean nor Thai so I was kinda as stoned as Donghae half the time. And I seriously don't like their attitude / level of fanservice these recent years (2 or so). I am being brutally honest here as a fan who as stuck by their side for a decade and this is based off my personal experience and not meant to insult them or offend anyone. Donghae used to be much friendlier but the entire concert this time round he was practically just glaring at me and ignoring fans who called out to him. Maybe he just hates me I don't know. Hyukjae wasn't as pleasant as I remembered him earlier this year too. =(

Performance standard; their live was not good especially Donghae cause he was having slight flu so he sounded even more nasal than usual. Dance standard was very good as usual and expected. I told my mum I preferred their concert over Super Show cause of the overall dance choreography throughout the whole concert. (and damn the Jap male dancers are hot)

I need to also declare here that I am extremely upset over how Donghae looks =( He looks like he lost 10kg and his entire face is shrunken in. His personal problems and stress has really taken a toll on him and it breaks my heart =(

I liked what the dancers did for them with the flowers and the concluding projection words which indicated the end of a successful D&E tour. I had expected myself to be a sobbing mess but I didn't feel a lot of emotions from Eunhae so I escaped without shedding a single drop of tear. Everyone rushed forward at the finale so I did too and secured myself a place in the front row where Donghae jumped down and gave the grandma his towel. Hyukjae simply looked at me with tears in his eyes...the same look he gave me at SS5SG...I don't get it. HAHAHAHA.

I'll end off on a happy note that I did not regret attending this concert one bit and I'm glad I brought my mother to enjoy it on this special Thailand mother's day.

Before anyone starts thinking I am anti-Eunhae with all the brutally honest personal opinions up there...let me copy and paste my emotional Instagram post:

Will do another short post on my BKK trip =) Phoebe Feehily signing off now ciao!
